The driver fled the scene in the vehicle and later collided with a curb on Banowsky Boulevard. He fled on foot. L.A. County Sheriff Deputies and DPS officers found the suspect, a student, in Alumni Park. The California Highway Patrol arrested the student for driving under the influence of alcohol.
